Le Visage

Much is revealed within a person's face. Just looking into their eyes, you can get a grasp of the type of person they are. Whether the darting eyes of a painfully shy person or the deep, entrusting eyes of a person of confidence. Being a photographer, these faces stick out to me. I can not pass them by without letting my shutter catch them. Here are some interesting faces I've seen around...

(Above and Below) South Philly man working in the Italian Market. *sidenote*-My favorite face to date.

World War II Veteran relaxing in the Italian Market.

A new photog friend at the Underground in Atlanta.

Straight Chillin.

(Above) My oldest sister, Shelly, and my brother, the minister, Yusuf.

Yusuf again.

My buddy, Jude, an up and coming filmmaker. Look out for him.

My new mentor, Abdul. Great photojournalist at the Philadelphia Tribune.

My friend being a good model.

(Above and Below) Old friends reunited. I've known this girl since the third grade. Now we are graduating college. She's a great person.

(Above and Below) My beautiful friend, Yjarvoe. She's so photogenic.

(Above and Below)Lewis. Originally from Hartford, CT, but transplanted in Philly. How ironic. I thought he was cool.

Joseph. Doing great things for the homeless of Philly. He works as a case manager at St. John's Hospice. They care for HIV positive or just sick people, as well as finding them transitional housing to help get them back on their feet.
